Santa Cruises in Ware are back again for 2023! 

 

The Cruises are running on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December with departures at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm. Prices are £17.50 per person and include a present for the children and a hot drink for the adults.

All departures are from Ware Town Quay in the Library Car Park - SG12 9XB

The Santa Cruises last for 60 minutes and will be full of fun including a guest appearance from Santa himself.  There will be surprises for the children and a fully licensed bar for the adults serving tea, coffee, hot chocolate, beers, wines and mulled wine. The boats are fully accessible and have toilets on board for your added comfort.  Everyone of all ages are welcome.

Our Waterbus cruises for 2023 are now available to book on the last Saturday of the month from April through to October. We are delighted to announce that we have kept the 2022 ticket prices the same for 2023.

The cruises will be from Ware Town Quay and last approximately three hours.  The cruises travel  to Stansted Abbotts through the Lee Valley and return back to Ware.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing redevelopment at Bircherley Green we are unable to offer any cruises from Hertford this year but hope these will return for our 2024 season.

Our popular Waterbus between Ware and Hertford cruises along the picturesque flood plains of the River Lee. The River Lee with an abundance of wildlife connects these two historic towns.   On route  you will also pass through original working locks.  

PLEASE NOTE

From Easter we are currently running a limited service of round trips from Ware  only due to the ongoing redevelopment in Hertford.  We hope to resume a normal Waterbus service from 2024.

Journey times are approximately 3 hours starting and finishing at Ware Town Quay next to Ware Priory - SG12 9XB

 PRE BOOKINGS ADVISED TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT - ANY REMAINING TICKETS WILL  AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS WHEN BOARDING.

 

Facilities

​This service is fully accessible to all and has two toilets (one disabled), refreshments and a licensed bar on board. Our boats have space for up to 60 passengers, however this will be reduced to around 75% capacity for 2023.  Wheel chairs and well behaved dogs welcome.
